Oracle Retail Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant (SIOCS/MFPCS/MFCS)

About the Role:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Cloud Techno Functional Consultant to support SIOCS/MFPCS/MFCS environments and store inventory processes. The role involves functional and technical support, system configuration, SQL/PLSQL analysis, batch processing, and preparation of functional and technical design documents across Oracle Retail Cloud applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SIOCS/MFPCS/MFCS and Oracle Retail modules, along with the ability to troubleshoot inventory and integration issues, support production environments, and collaborate closely with business users, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Functional and Technical designs in Oracle Retail Products

• SQL/PLSQL Unix code analysis in Oracle Retail products

• Understanding of batch programs and interfaces in Oracle Retail Products

• Handle customer interactions as SPOC

Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements

• Oracle Retail SIOCS/MFPCS/MFCS Expertise

• Oracle Retail Functional Knowledge

Solid functional understanding of Oracle Retail modules, including:

1. SIM (Store Inventory Management)

2. RMS (Retail Merchandising System)

3. RPM (Retail Price Management)

4. ReIM (Retail Invoice Matching)

5. ReSA (Retail Sales Audit)

6. RTM (Retail Trade Management), where applicable

7. Strong understanding of end to end retail inventory lifecycle, from receipt to sale and adjustment.

8. Ability to translate store and business requirements into functional designs and system configurations.

• SQL / PLSQL

1. Strong proficiency in SQL and PLSQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

2. Experience analyzing complex queries, packages, procedures, and views related to inventory and store data.

3. Ability to support data corrections, reconciliations, and reporting needs in production environments.

• Unix / Batch Processing

1. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments used in Oracle Retail deployments.

2. Understanding of Oracle Retail batch programs, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, and failure handling.

3. Ability to perform batch analysis and support interface processing between SIOCS and other Oracle Retail systems.

• Techno Functional & Customer Interaction Skills

1. Experience preparing Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD) for Oracle Retail solutions.

2. Strong troubleshooting skills across functional, technical, and data layers.

3. Proven experience handling customer interactions as SPOC, including requirement discussions, defect resolution, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Oracle Retail Cloud Exposure

1. Exposure to or working knowledge of other Oracle Retail Cloud applications, such as: MFCS (Merchandising Financial Cloud Service) or Pricing modules

2. Understanding of cross module integrations and data flows within Oracle Retail Cloud ecosystem.

• Implementation & Production Support

1. Experience in end to end Oracle Retail implementations, including requirement gathering, design, SIT/UAT support, and go live activities.

2. Hands on experience in production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.

3. Familiarity with support processes in large, multi store retail environments.

• Performance & Optimization

1. Knowledge of SQL performance tuning techniques, including execution plan analysis and optimization.

2. Experience working with high volume store and inventory transaction data.

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

1. Basic to intermediate understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) concepts.

2. Familiarity with cloud based environments, monitoring, and deployment considerations related to Oracle Retail Cloud applications.
