PRODUCTION ASST. MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Production Assistant Manager to join PT. SP Manufacturing in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. As Production Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial part in overseeing daily production activities (SMT - FG), optimizing scheduling, and ensuring that our manufacturing operations run efficiently and meet our quality standards. This role reports directly to the Production Manager and is essential to the success of our manufacturing operations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, production planning, or a similar supervisory role within a electronic manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, planning, and inventory management systems

• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments

• Demonstrated leadership capability and experience supervising or mentoring production staff

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency

• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in a manufacturing setting

• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing production demands and priorities

• Preferred: Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
