About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional F&B Server to join the Exquise Patisserie team in Bandung, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As an F&B Server, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for ensuring every guest receives prompt, courteous and attentive service whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. This role is integral to our mission of providing outstanding food and beverage experiences in a welcoming patisserie and coffee environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with restaurant capacity and guest preferences

2. Presenting menus promptly and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our patisserie items, cakes and coffee selections

3. Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams

4. Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring plates and drinks are presented attractively and at the correct temperature

5. Checking in with guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests

6. Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and handling cash or card transactions with precision

7. Clearing tables promptly and resetting them to our high standards for the next service

8. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the dining area, including floors, tables and service stations

9. Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

10. Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards at all times

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working as an F&B Server or in a similar front-of-house hospitality role, preferably in a café, patisserie or fine dining environment

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and build rapport

3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to take accurate orders and manage multiple tables simultaneously

4. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures

5. Physical stamina and the ability to remain standing for extended periods whilst maintaining a professional appearance

6. Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including coffee varieties and patisserie items, or willingness to learn quickly

7. A positive, customer-focused attitude and genuine passion for hospitality

8. Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak trading periods

9. Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred, with additional language skills being advantageous
