Inventory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all products and locations.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies between actual stock and system records.
• Process incoming and outgoing inventory transactions, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
• Track inventory turnover and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory adjustments, returns, and transfers.
• Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards related to inventory management.
• Assist in audits and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy.
• Troubleshoot inventory-related issues and recommend solutions to minimize discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for coordination across departments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Knowledge of inventory optimization and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to lift and move moderate physical loads if required.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with occasional warehouse duties.
• May require standing or walking for extended periods during inventory counts.
