Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for store IT systems, including POS (Point of Sale), inventory management, and customer service applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues (computers, printers, scanners, payment terminals).
- Monitor and maintain store network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and security systems.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and user access management.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams or external service providers when necessary.
- Coordinate with service providers (e.g., telecom, hardware vendors, managed IT services) to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Train store staff on basic IT troubleshooting and system usage.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
- Support store openings, relocations, and upgrades by setting up IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in IT support, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking basics, and POS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with external vendors and manage service escalations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
