Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer

About the Role:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle Cloud Finance and upstream/downstream systems. The role involves integration development, data mapping and transformation, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical documentation within Oracle Cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen2), REST/SOAP APIs, and Oracle Fusion integrations, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient integration solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and Development: Design and Develop integrations with upstream and downstream systems of Oracle Cloud Finance implementation, ensuring seamless data transition from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements, identify data sources, and define data mapping and transformation rules.

Data Mapping and Transformation: Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate and consistent integration with upstream and downstream systems with Oracle Cloud Finance modules.

Testing: Perform Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT Support

Performance Optimization: Optimize integration processes to minimize process time and ensure efficient transfer of large volumes of data to Oracle Cloud Finance.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of data with other Oracle Cloud modules and third-party systems.

Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of Integration processes, including data mapping documents, Interface scripts and validation procedures

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience with strong Oracle Fusion integration background

• Extensive hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen2)

• Strong design and development experience with:

1. SOAP / REST APIs o OIC adapters (ERP Cloud Adapter, REST Adapter, File Server / FTP Adapter)

2. XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON

3. Fusion inbound and outbound integrations

4. Development of synchronous, asynchronous, scheduled, and event-based integrations

5. Implement fault framework, tracking, reprocessing, and error-handling strategies

6. Leverage latest OIC PaaS capabilities for performance, security, and scalability

• Proven ability to convert business and functional requirements into OIC technical designs

• Strong understanding of finance data flows and cross module integrations and best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and transformation.

• Strong technical understanding of how the data is imported from 3rd party systems to Fusion modules through OIC.

• Ability to effectively communicate with 3rd Party vendors and other support teams.

• High-Level communication skills to collaborate, influence, and persuade others.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to senior management.

• Certification in Oracle Integration Cloud is advantageous
