About the role

We are seeking a Butler to join our esteemed villa accommodation team in Seminyak, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exceptional opportunity to deliver personalised, high-end hospitality services to our discerning guests. As a Butler, you will be the cornerstone of our guest experience, responsible for ensuring that every aspect of your guests' stay reflects the luxury and attention to detail for which our villa is renowned. This role requires someone who embodies discretion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide discreet and anticipatory butler services, attending to all guest requests with impeccable professionalism and attention to detail

2. Manage guest accommodation services, including room preparation, maintenance of living spaces, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation

3. Coordinate and oversee dining services, including table settings, service protocols, and liaising with kitchen staff to ensure seamless meal presentations

4. Welcome guests upon arrival and provide comprehensive orientation to villa facilities, local attractions, and available services

5. Handle guest requests promptly and discreetly, from arranging transportation and activities to organising special occasions or bespoke experiences

6. Maintain impeccable standards of personal appearance, attire, and conduct at all times

7. Manage household inventory, supplies, and amenities, placing orders as required to maintain stock levels

8. Liaise with other hospitality and domestic staff to ensure coordinated, seamless service delivery

9. Respond to guest concerns or special requests with grace, discretion, and a solution-focused approach

10. Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and villa operations

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a butler or in a high-end hospitality service role, preferably in a luxury villa, resort, or private household setting

2. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to read guests' needs and anticipate requests before they are made

3. Outstanding organisational abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery

4. Knowledge of formal service protocols, dining etiquette, and luxury hospitality standards

5. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Indonesian or Mandarin is highly desirable

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

7. Impeccable grooming and presentation standards with a professional demeanour

8. Discretion, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality

9. Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and carrying items

10. Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends as required

11. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable moments
