PT Memiontec Indonesia is seeking an experienced and capable professional to join our team as Head Engineering. This role is responsible for leading engineering activities across WTP and WWTP process plants, infrastructure, utilities, and supporting facilities, while ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering activities for WTP and WWTP process plants, infrastructure, utilities, and supporting facilities.
Develop engineering strategies, standards, and governance to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
Manage proposal preparation and oversee engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and technical service providers.
Review and approve engineering studies, designs, specifications, drawings, and other technical deliverables.
Coordinate with Construction, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, and Operations teams to ensure practical, efficient, and constructible engineering solutions.
Drive technical risk management, value engineering, design optimization, and engineering change processes.
Monitor engineering progress and provide regular updates on key issues, risks, and mitigation plans to the Project Director.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or other related disciplines); Master’s Degree is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering or project delivery within EPC environments.
Strong experience in WTP and WWTP projects is highly preferred.
Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through design, construction, and commissioning phases.
Strong knowledge of engineering management, design review, constructability, technical governance, and risk management.
Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, process, geotechnical, and infrastructure.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
