The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily human resources operations, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented. This role supervises HR staff, supports employee relations, and ensures compliance with labor laws and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide HR team members in recruitment, onboarding, and employee services
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring
- Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation processes for new employees
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback systems
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analytics for management review
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals
- Handle compensation and benefits administration in coordination with management
- Monitor employee engagement and retention programs.
- Assist in policy review and updates.
- Coordinate with external partners (e.g., agencies, government offices).
- Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Proven experience (typically 3–5 years) in HR roles, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Experience in handling disciplinary cases is an advantage.
- Knowledge in payroll and compensation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
