About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service professional to join our client company in Jakarta. This is a full-time position where you will be at the phone call of our customer interactions, providing exceptional support and building lasting relationships with our clients. As a Customer Service representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and representing the values of our organisation through every interaction. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and directly contributes to the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat and other communication channels

• Addressing customer concerns and complaints with empathy, patience and a commitment to finding effective solutions

• Providing accurate information about our products and services to help customers make informed decisions

• Processing customer requests, orders and transactions with attention to detail and accuracy

• Documenting all customer interactions and maintaining comprehensive records in our system

• Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and suggesting improvements to management

• Collaborating with other departments to resolve complex customer issues and ensure timely follow-up

• Meeting performance targets and quality standards whilst maintaining professional conduct at all times

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and communicate clearly in English and Indonesian (or local language as applicable)

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role within a contact centre, retail, hospitality or similar environment

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset and genuine desire to help others

• Patience and emotional intelligence to handle difficult situations professionally and diplomatically

• Proficiency with computer systems, CRM software and multi-channel communication platforms

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst managing multiple tasks and priorities

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• A positive attitude, reliability and commitment to maintaining consistent performance standards

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training in customer service or related field is advantageous

• You will need to have your own Laptop to prepare work remotely.
