Haulage Supervisor

About the role

PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia is seeking a Haulage Supervisor to join our operations team in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position where you will take on a supervisory leadership role within our haulage and transport operations. As Haulage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our vehicle fleet, drivers, and logistics operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant transportation services. This role is critical to maintaining our operational standards and supporting the broader logistics objectives of PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Supervising and managing the daily activities of haulage drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures

• Monitoring vehicle fleet maintenance schedules and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles remain in optimal working condition

• Ensure SLA Customer Fulfillment

• Ensuring adherence to road safety regulations, traffic laws, and health and safety standards across all transport operations

• Maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements, driver logs, fuel consumption, and other operational metrics

• Investigating and documenting any accidents, incidents, or vehicle breakdowns, and implementing corrective actions

• Liaising with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery schedules

• Preparing operational reports and providing feedback to management on fleet performance, efficiency metrics, and areas for improvement

• Responding to operational challenges and resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions to service delivery

• Manage PO - monthly closing

• Ensure all PO are verify in CJ System

• Joint visit customer with FF or BD Team

What we're looking for :

• Proven experience as a Haulage Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, or similar supervisory role within the logistics or transport industry

• Strong knowledge of vehicle fleet management, maintenance schedules, and transportation operations

• Comprehensive understanding of road safety regulations, traffic laws, and health and safety compliance requirements in Indonesia

• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of drivers and transport staff

• Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Proficiency in using logistics management software and computer systems for tracking vehicles and managing operational data

• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, customers, and management

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting

• Valid driving licence and knowledge of vehicle operation is advantageous

• Certification in transport management, logistics, or health and safety training is desirable
