Smallholder & Sustainability Officer (ICS Assistant)

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven ICS Assistant to support our smallholder partnership and sustainability programs. In this role, you will work closely with farmers, plantation operations, and sustainability teams to improve plantation productivity, strengthen partnerships, and support ISPO/RSPO certification compliance.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about sustainable agriculture and palm oil plantation management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and training to smallholder farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
Monitor plantation performance and support productivity improvement initiatives.
Maintain and update farmer and land databases.
Support the implementation of sustainability programs and certification requirements (ISPO & RSPO).
Conduct field visits and prepare activity reports.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful partnership programs.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plantation, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in palm oil plantation operations.
Strong understanding of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
Familiarity with ISPO and RSPO standards is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel and work in plantation areas.
