Senior Custom Clearance Specialist

Join Rise Again Logistic Indonesia as our Senior Customs Clearance Specialist and become a key contributor to our international freight forwarding operations. We are seeking an experienced customs professional to manage end-to-end import and export customs declarations, regulatory compliance, and documentation while ensuring efficient cargo clearance and uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete customs declaration process for import, export, and transshipment shipments while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

• Prepare, verify, and maintain all customs and shipping documents, including Certificates of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificates, and other regulatory documentation.

• Monitor Indonesian Customs regulations and ensure company compliance with customs, quarantine, and other government requirements.

• Act as the primary liaison with Customs, Quarantine, freight forwarders, shipping partners, government agencies, and internal operational teams.

• Process declarations through CEISA and other government electronic platforms while maintaining accurate operational records. Able to create PEB/PIB

• Investigate and resolve customs discrepancies, shipment inspections, documentation issues, and clearance delays to minimize operational disruptions.

• Prepare accurate customs reports, operational documentation, and compliance records for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in customs clearance, customs brokerage, or international freight forwarding.

• Strong experience handling both import and export declarations.

• Experience in air freight operations is highly preferred.

• Valid Customs Broker License / PPJK / BNSP Certification is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Indonesian Customs regulations and procedures.

• Excellent knowledge of HS Code classification and import/export documentation.

• Experience with CEISA and other government declaration systems.

• Familiar with Certificates of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificates, and regulatory documentation requirements.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Comfortable conducting daily business communication with international customers, overseas agents, customs authorities, quarantine agencies, and internal operational teams to resolve documentation, compliance, and customs clearance matters promptly.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

• Experience using customs declaration and freight forwarding systems is preferred.

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

• Able to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
