Construction Documentation Designer

Job Responsibilities :

• Undertake detailed design for projects including motorcycle brand showrooms, chain stores, and office spaces. Complete full sets of construction drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed nodes, and closing constructions based on schematic designs, ensuring design realization and constructability.

• Collaborate closely with schematic designers to accurately understand design concepts and brand visual standards. Translate creative schemes into technical drawings compliant with construction specifications, coordinate details such as dimensions, materials, and craftsmanship, and resolve conflicts between design and on-site construction.

• Support on-site construction with technical briefings, construction inspections, and issue resolution. Respond promptly to inquiries from construction teams, refine drawing details and on-site modifications, and ensure construction results align with design intent (including on-site coordination related to motorcycle showroom displays and fixtures).

• Conduct internal reviews, version revisions, and filing management of detailed drawings, ensuring drawings are complete, accurately annotated, and standardized to support project delivery.

• Be proficient in the properties, specifications, and construction techniques of decorative materials. Participate in material selection and comparison to achieve a balanced approach among aesthetics, cost, and craftsmanship (with emphasis on durability and load-bearing requirements for motorcycle showrooms).

• Coordinate with construction units, suppliers, and project stakeholders to efficiently communicate technical issues, follow up on implementation feedback, and drive projects to progress on schedule (including coordination of special construction requirements for motorcycle showrooms).

• Provide detailed design support throughout the entire store construction process, including pre-construction briefings, mid-term inspections, and post-completion acceptance. Focus on key details such as motorcycle fixing points and floor load-bearing capacity to avoid potential safety hazards.

• Continuously track new materials, techniques, and technologies in interior design and apply them to detailed design. Optimize designs based on the display characteristics of motorcycle showrooms to improve drawing quality and implementation efficiency.

Qualifications & Competencies :

  1. Professional Background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Art Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields.

• Core requirement: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in detailed design for commercial spaces (chain stores, shopping mall counters, shopping centers, commercial complexes, etc.), with completed and implemented commercial space projects (previous construction drawings can be provided for verification). Familiar with commercial space design codes, construction processes, and acceptance standards.

• Preference for candidates with experience in detailed design for brand showrooms and exhibition spaces, with the ability to effectively control functional layout, circulation design, material matching, and cost control in commercial spaces. Candidates with completed and implemented motorcycle showroom projects are highly preferred (previous construction drawings can be provided for verification).

  2. Software Skills

• Proficient in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Familiar with hydropower and other related professional knowledge, and able to support the coordinated detailed design of hydropower and spatial layout (including detailed design of display stand load-bearing and fixing points in motorcycle showrooms).

• Able to independently produce complete detailed construction drawings for commercial spaces and motorcycle showrooms, and capable of delivering construction drawings in English.

• Meticulous and rigorous in work, with high accountability for details such as dimensions, annotation scales, material specifications, and node structures in commercial space and motorcycle showroom drawings, minimizing on-site reworks caused by design omissions (with strict control over motorcycle display stand load-bearing, fixing brackets, joint alignment, and other details).

• Strong communication, coordination, and adaptability skills, able to efficiently communicate with all project stakeholders for commercial spaces and motorcycle showrooms, accurately convey design requirements, and resolve on-site technical issues (including technical coordination related to motorcycle display and fixing).

• Excellent teamwork and service awareness, able to adapt to the high-intensity project-based workflow of commercial space and motorcycle showroom projects. Capable of efficient delivery under tight schedules, balancing multiple demands with strong stress tolerance.
