Key Responsibilities
- Merchandising & Category Management
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.?Manage assigned product categories and brands.?Monitor product performance and recommend assortment changes.?Analyze sales trends and customer demand.?Introduce new products and identify growth opportunities.
- Forecasting & Inventory Planning
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts.?Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock availability.?Ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management principles.?Analyze inventory aging, slow-moving, and obsolete stocks.?Develop replenishment plans and inventory allocation strategies.
- Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers.?Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, lead times, and service levels.?Conduct cost analysis and purchasing reviews.?Manage purchase planning to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
- Pricing & Profitability Management
- ?Analyze product costing and gross margin performance.?Monitor market pricing and competitor activities.?Recommend selling prices and promotional strategies.?Evaluate profitability by SKU, category, and customer segment.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct regular competitor checks and market surveys.?Monitor pricing trends, new product launches, and industry developments.?Provide recommendations based on market opportunities and risks.
- Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports.?Analyze sales, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and profitability.?Develop Excel-based dashboards and management reports.?Present recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Language Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin (read, write, and speak)?Fluent in English?Fluent in Filipino
- Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, forecasting models, dashboards)?Inventory planning and forecasting?Product costing and margin analysis?Supplier negotiations?Inventory allocation and replenishment planning?Sales and profitability analysis
