Job Description
Market Development Executive is responsible for managing and growing the company's business within the assigned region by driving sales performance, expanding market coverage, and ensuring excellent execution across all sales channels.
This role leads the regional field team, including Area Supervisors, Merchandisers, and Product Ambassadors, while collaborating with distributors to achieve sales targets, strengthen market presence, and ensure effective execution of sales and promotional activities across the assigned region.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives within the assigned region.
Drive sales growth by monitoring business performance and implementing action plans to achieve sales targets.
Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of Area Supervisors, Merchandisers, and Product Ambassadors to ensure effective field execution.
Manage distributor performance to strengthen market coverage, product availability, and operational excellence.
Ensure product distribution, merchandising standards, brand visibility, and successful execution of promotional activities across the assigned region.
Achieve New Product Listing (NPL) targets and ensure successful product launches in the market.
Monitor Stock on Hand (SOH) and coordinate with distributors to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Analyze Month on Month (MoM), Year on Year (YoY), Sell In, and Sell Out performance to identify business opportunities and improvement areas.
Monitor regional budget utilization and ensure cost-effective execution of sales and promotional activities.
Conduct regular market and store visits to evaluate execution quality, identify business opportunities, and resolve operational issues.
Lead business review meetings with distributors to evaluate performance, address challenges, and align on future action plans.
Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and business recommendations for management.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Sales, Area Management, KAE, or Business Development within the FMCG or Retail industry.
Strong understanding of distributor management, sales operations, merchandising, and regional business development.
Experience in leading or coordinating field teams, such as Area Supervisors, Merchandisers, or Product Ambassadors, is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Willing to travel frequently for business meetings, distributor visits, and market visits.
Willing to be placed in the Jakarta or Surabaya region based on the Company's business requirements.
