Visual Merchandising Associate

We are seeking a VM Associate to join Alberto Shoes Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in creating compelling visual merchandising experiences that drive customer engagement and sales. As a VM Associate, you will be responsible for translating our brand vision into engaging retail displays and store environments that showcase our shoe collections to their best advantage. This role is integral to maintaining our brand identity across all retail touchpoints and directly impacts the customer shopping experience and store performance.

Key responsibilities

Visual Merchandising Execution

• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards across assigned stores or areas.
• Set up and refresh window displays, table highlights, and promotional displays according to seasonal campaigns and marketing directives.
• Ensure product presentation is visually appealing, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Assist in floor moves, product rotations, and display updates to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall visual appeal of store fixtures, displays, and merchandising materials.

Store Support

• Coordinate with Store Operations and Sales Teams to ensure proper product placement and stock availability.
• Monitor display conditions and recommend improvements based on customer traffic and sales performance.
• Conduct regular store visits and visual audits to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Assist in new store openings, renovations, and sale and marketing events as needed.

Creative and Technical Support

• Assist in producing visual merchandising materials, signage, and display elements.
• Support the creation of store layout plans and visual presentations.
• Take store photos and prepare reports documenting display execution and compliance.
• Stay updated on retail trends, fashion trends, and competitor activities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail visual merchandising is an advantage.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles, retail trends, and customer behavior.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D design software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel and conduct store visits as required.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and mall hours only when necessary.
