About the role
As the Accounting Officer at PT Samindo Resources Tbk, you will support the company's Accounting & Tax function by ensuring accurate financial recording, reconciliation, and reporting in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
Record daily accounting transactions accurately and timely.
Prepare and post journal entries into the accounting system.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting documentation and records.
Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with PSAK, company accounting policies, and internal procedures.
Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting transactions and supporting documents.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
Proficiency in English (oral & written) is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and PSAK.
Experience using ERP or accounting systems (SAP is an advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
