Engineering Design & Technical Delivery

1)    Independently develop civil and structural engineering designs for mining, minerals processing, industrial facilities, materials handling systems and associated infrastructure.

2)    Undertake engineering development from concept design through to detailed engineering.

3)    Develop engineering calculations, analyses and technical solutions for complex engineering problems.

4)    Apply sound engineering judgement to achieve safe, economical, practical and constructible engineering outcomes.

5)    Ensure engineering solutions comply with project objectives, applicable standards and recognised engineering practice.

Civil Engineering

Develop engineering designs including:

1)    Site development

2)    Bulk earthworks

3)    Plant grading

4)    Roads and haul roads

5)    Heavy-duty pavements

6)    Hardstands

7)    Stormwater drainage

8)    Water management systems

9)    Sediment ponds

10)  Retaining structures

11)  Underground services

12)  Foundations and civil infrastructure

Prepare supporting engineering calculations, reports and design documentation for all civil engineering works.

Structural Engineering

Develop engineering designs for:

1)    Crusher structures

2)    Conveyor galleries

3)    Transfer towers

4)    Pipe racks

5)    Workshops

6)    Process plant buildings

7)    Industrial steelwork

8)    Reinforced concrete structures

9)    Equipment support structures

10)  Tank support structures

11)  Equipment foundations

12)  Dynamic machine foundations

Undertake engineering calculations for static, dynamic, wind, seismic and operational loading where applicable.

Develop practical connection details suitable for fabrication and construction.

Structural Analysis

Develop and verify structural analysis models using recognised engineering software.

Undertake:

Validate engineering models through independent engineering judgement and calculation review.

Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and international engineering standards.

Project Delivery

Provide technical engineering input throughout:

1)    Scoping Studies

2)    Trade-off Studies

3)    Prefeasibility Studies

4)    Feasibility Studies

5)    FEED

6)    Detailed Design

Provide technical support during:

1)    Procurement

2)    Vendor document reviews

3)    Tender evaluations

7)    Operational troubleshooting

Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, constructability reviews, HAZOP interfaces and engineering workshops.

Technical Leadership

Remain actively involved in engineering production whilst providing technical leadership to assigned Civil & Structural Engineers and Designers.

Coordinate engineering activities to ensure consistency, technical quality and efficient project delivery.

Provide technical guidance, design review and engineering support to graduate and intermediate engineers.

Review engineering deliverables prior to issue where assigned.

Support continuous improvement of engineering procedures, standards and design practices.

Client Interface

Participate in technical meetings with clients, vendors, contractors and project stakeholders.

Present engineering concepts, study outcomes and technical recommendations.

Prepare technical reports supporting client decision-making.

Represent Resindo professionally in all technical matters.
