Senior Accountant

THE BALI HOUSES is a real estate service company assisting Dutch investors with end-to-end property investment services in Bali. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and support accounting and tax matters for our clients and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting Manager in financial reporting, audit preparation, compliance matters, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
• Support the Accounting Manager to manage Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including vendor invoices, customer payments, and account reconciliations.
• Support the Accounting Manager to prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits, and coordinate with auditors during audit processes.
• Assist management with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial reporting requirements.
• Handle full accounting and tax for clients (PT PMA), including setting up and maintaining a proper accounting system tailored to a real estate business; ensure compliance for clients (PT PMA) with statutory tax obligations, including PPh, VAT (PPN), and property-related taxes, and coordinate timely tax filings and payments.
• Manage tax administration matters for clients (PT PMA), including Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), Regional Taxpayer Number (NPWPD) requirements, and Indonesia Tax Authority System (CoreTax).
• Handle LKPM preparation and reporting for clients (PT PMA).

Qualifications:

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role. Experience in the real estate/property management and hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and Indonesian taxation.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Have an experience of using CoreTax.
• Strong knowledge of OSS and have and experience of LKPM reporting for PT PMA.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and experienced with accounting software (Xero).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Based in Bali is preferred.
