Focused on sustainability and operational excellence, the organization manufactures premium processed drinking water in multiple packaging formats, including refill gallons, glass bottles, and aluminum cans. Its products are distributed through an extensive network covering retail outlets, hotels, restaurants, cafés, hospitality operators, and other commercial customers throughout Bali.
Operating within a dynamic manufacturing environment, the company combines production, warehousing, logistics, and distribution into an integrated supply chain. Job Role
The Operation Manager will be responsible for leading the overall manufacturing operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient plant performance, production continuity, supply chain effectiveness, and operational excellence across all manufacturing activities.
Reporting directly to management, this role oversees the day-to-day operation of the production plant, including water purification, bottling operations, warehouse management, logistics coordination, production planning, workforce supervision, and operational budgeting. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining product quality, optimizing manufacturing costs, and ensuring safe and sustainable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational efficiency are consistently achieved.
- Manage water purification processes, production lines, and bottling operations across multiple product formats, including gallon refills, glass bottles, and aluminum cans.
- Ensure all production equipment, machinery, and utilities operate efficiently through preventive maintenance coordination and operational monitoring.
- Supervise warehouse operations, inventory control, raw material availability, packaging materials, and finished goods management.
- Coordinate logistics activities, delivery scheduling, fleet utilization, and distribution planning to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Develop production schedules, manpower allocation, and shift planning to maximize productivity while maintaining operational discipline.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, production efficiency, utility consumption, waste reduction, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, hygiene standards, operational procedures, and environmental sustainability practices.
- Oversee wastewater treatment, waste management, and other environmental control systems to support sustainable manufacturing operations.
- Prepare operational reports, production analysis, KPI monitoring, and budget performance reports for management review.
- Lead, coach, and develop production, warehouse, logistics, and operational teams to build a high-performance manufacturing culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, factory management, production management, plant operations, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience within the FMCG, food & beverage, beverage manufacturing, packaged drinking water, or other high-volume manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing operations, bottling processes, water treatment systems, warehouse management, and supply chain operations.
- Experience managing production teams, warehouse personnel, logistics operations, and cross-functional manufacturing activities.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, inventory management, production scheduling, cost control, workplace safety (K3), hygiene standards, and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, for production reporting, operational analysis, and cost monitoring.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work independently and drive operational excellence on the factory floor.
- Professional proficiency in English for business communication and reporting to regional management and headquarters.
