Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Textile/ colour Engineering
At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in textile material sourcing, development or quality control.
Knowledge working with Indonesian RM and vendors will be an added advantage
High level of technical skills with knowledge of yarn spinning, knitting, dyeing and finishing. Thorough understanding of fabrics and elastics production quality standards
Fluent English in written and spoken is a must
Strong negotiation, project management, and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills , energetic, attention to details, and well organized.
Strong proficiency in MS Windows based software (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint)
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Analyze reference samples: identify fibre composition, construction, finish, and performance specs.
Brief technical requirements to RM /vendors for requalification of materials.
Research and evaluate alternative raw material suppliers for cost-effective duplication.
Prepare detailed specification sheets, technical comparisons.
Coordinate with 3rd party lab to conduct physical and function tests, and compare results against original quality.
Be able to collaborate with Regional (Australia) RM team and supplier/vendor to ensure the duplication quality can be submitted on time and meet the original requirements.
Involve /lead in supplier capability development projects.
