About the role
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinating the work of cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff
Overseeing inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels
Monitoring and optimising financial processes, including cash handling, invoicing, and reporting
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them
Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer issues
Supporting the cafe manager in strategic decision-making and business planning
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar operational management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of diverse staff
Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and reporting
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in using technology and point-of-sale systems
A passion for the coffee industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
