SALES ASSOCIATE

OVER-ALL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Sales Associate in a lending company is responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting loan products, guiding applicants through the lending process, and helping the company achieve its sales targets. The role involves direct interaction with clients, both in-person and via phone, and requires a good understanding of financial products, customer service, and basic credit principles.

FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Identify and reach out to potential customers who may need financial support from our products we offer.

·       Promote and explain the company loan products and services.

·       Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and conversion rates.

·       Follow up on leads and referrals provided by marketing or generated through fieldwork.

·       Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documents are collected.

·       Maintain regular communication with clients regarding application status, repayments and renewals.

·       Provide accurate information and resolve customer inquiries of concerns promptly.

·       Ensure all applications and customer records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

·       Assist in verifying client details and assessing eligibility based on basic credit checks or pre-screening criteria.

·       Coordinate with the credit and underwriting teams to ensure timely loan processing.

·       Maintain a daily log of customer interactions, applications, and follow ups.

·       Prepare and submit activity and sales reports to supervisors.

·       Collaborate with other sales associates and branch staff to achieve overall business goals.
