Production Manager

PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead our production team, ensure smooth daily operations, and continuously improve our production system.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control daily, weekly, and monthly production.

• Ensure production targets are achieved on time and according to quality standards.

• Manage manpower, work allocation, production capacity, and order priorities.

• Monitor the production process from raw materials to finished products.

• Identify bottlenecks and improve productivity, cycle time, and efficiency.

• Conduct time studies and establish standard production times.

• Ensure the team follows SOPs, 5S, quality standards, and standard work procedures.

• Reduce rejects, rework, delays, and material waste.

• Analyze production problems and implement corrective actions.

• Prepare regular production reports and monitor KPIs.

• Develop and improve production systems and processes.

• Lead, train, evaluate, and develop Supervisors, Leaders, and Operators.

• Work closely with Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments to ensure production runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing/production.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience leading a production team.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, manpower planning, and scheduling.

• Familiar with Time Study, Standard Time, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, productivity improvement, and bottleneck analysis.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good understanding of quality control and product finishing.

• Strong leadership, discipline, and decision-making skills.

• Comfortable working with targets and KPIs.

• Good Microsoft Excel skills.

• Willing to work hands-on on the production floor.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:

• Furniture Manufacturing

• Kitchen Cabinet / Modular Furniture

• Aluminium & Glass Fabrication

• Interior Manufacturing

• Door & Window Manufacturing

Experience with aluminium extrusion, glass, and PVC board is a strong advantage.
