About the role
We are looking for a Head of HR to build the HR function from the ground up for a new hotel and resort operation. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, training, and people-development expertise, with a proven ability to establish HR systems, culture, and talent programs from zero. A key focus of the role is developing a strong training academy that can become a model and talent-development hub for other hotels and resorts. You will be expected to build capable teams, strengthen service standards, develop future leaders, and create scalable HR and training programs across the hospitality industry.

Develop management and leadership pipelines, including structured career development and succession planning
Manage manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement
Establish HR standards while working closely with senior management and hotel operations
Job Requirements
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience in a large hotel group, luxury hotel, resort, or major hospitality company
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership position, preferably as Head of HR, HR Director, or equivalent
Strong track record of building HR functions, systems, policies, and culture from the ground up
Demonstrated expertise in training, learning & development, and hospitality academies, ideally with experience creating programs that can be replicated across multiple hotels or resorts
Experience developing management and leadership pipelines, including structured career development and succession planning
Strong understanding of hotel operations, manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and hospitality service standards
Experience working in a large-scale or multi-property hospitality environment is highly preferred
Strategic, hands-on leader with the ability to establish HR standards while working closely with senior management and hotel operations
Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills
Passion for developing people and creating a high-performance, service-oriented hospitality culture
