Legal Manager (Oil Palm Plantation)

We are currently hiring for Legal Manager with details as follow:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage and coordinate end-to-end land acquisition processes with key stakeholders, encompassing site surveys, land clearance/release, and regulatory permitting.

2. Verify land acquisition documents and permits to ensure full compliance with prevailing legal regulations and standards.

3. Coordinate with relevant parties to conduct precise land measurement and boundary surveying for newly acquired properties.

4. Gather market intelligence on regional land prices to establish accurate land valuation and pricing analyses.

5. Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including village heads, local government authorities, community leaders, and relevant agencies.

6. Oversee and secure necessary operational permits required for plant and facility operations.

7. Perform additional operational duties and projects as assigned to support organizational needs.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Master's Degree in Law from reputable university (Overseas University graduates are preferable) is a MUST.

• English proficiency is a MUST.

• Minimum 7 years working experience in oil palm plantation industry would be an advantage.

• Strong understanding of governmental land regulations, land acquisition and clearance procedures, required permitting, and relevant administrative institutions.

• Familiar with palm oil plantation regulations and environmental compliance.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with palm oil mill operational permits is a distinct advantage.

• Exceptional communication and coordination skills across diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• High discipline, uncompromised integrity, and proven resilience when working under pressure.

• Willing to be placed in Sekadau, West Kalimantan.
