Japanese Interpreter - Cikarang / Karawang / Jakarta

PERSOL Indonesia is currently hiring Japanese Interpreter positions for several Japanese-affiliated companies in Indonesia.

We are looking for candidates who are confident in Japanese–Bahasa Indonesia interpretation and translation and are interested in working in a Japanese business environment.

Various opportunities are available in Cikarang, Karawang, and Jakarta, covering industries such as automotive manufacture, food and beverage manufacture, healthcare, trading, and etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Japanese–Bahasa Indonesia interpretation during meetings, discussions, and daily business activities.

• Support communication between Japanese expatriates/management and Indonesian employees.

• Interpret during factory visits, site activities, vendor meetings, customer visits, and other business occasions.

• Translate emails, reports, manuals, work instructions, presentations, and other business documents.

• Support Japanese management in communicating instructions and information to local employees.

• Prepare meeting minutes, summaries, and other documents when required.

• Assist with communication and coordination with local employees, vendors, consultants, and other external parties.

• Support administrative or operational activities related to interpretation when required.

• Perform other interpretation, translation, and related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• JLPT N3 or above (preferably N2 above)

• Able to communicate effectively in Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Experience as a Japanese Interpreter/Translator is preferred, but opportunities may also be available for candidates with strong Japanese proficiency and relevant backgrounds.

• Experience working in a Japanese company is an advantage. Open to Fresh Graduate with JLPT N2.

• Manufacturing/factory experience is an advantage for manufacturing-related positions.

• Experience working with Japanese expatriates or Japanese management is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred; educational requirements may vary depending on the position.

• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Able to accurately convey the meaning, intention, and context of conversations.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.

• Able to work professionally in a Japanese business environment.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary depending on experience, Japanese proficiency, and position.

• Salary range approximately IDR 7,500,000–17,000,000/month, depending on the position and candidate qualifications.
