The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Head of Data & Analytics to lead the next generation of enterprise analytics at Hubexo.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead our modern analytics capability while helping transform data from more than 18 acquired businesses into a trusted source of insight.
You'll own the analytics product strategy built on our Databricks Lakehouse platform, partnering closely with Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Commercial, and Operations leaders to deliver high-value dashboards, semantic models, AI use cases, and self-service analytics that drive business decisions globally.

Leading a highly skilled team of Analytics Engineers and BI Developers, you'll balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, establishing engineering best practices while shaping the future direction of analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: 
Lead the Enterprise Analytics Strategy

• Define and own the roadmap for enterprise analytics products built on Databricks.

• Deliver trusted dashboards, semantic models, embedded analytics, and future AI-driven insights.

• Establish source of truth for enterprise reporting through certified metrics and governance.

• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Technology leaders to translate business priorities into scalable analytics solutions.

Build & Lead a High-Performing Analytics Team

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Analytics Engineers and BI Developers.

• Foster a collaborative engineering culture through coaching, code reviews, and technical leadership.

• Drive capability growth and future team expansion as the analytics platform evolves.

• Promote ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.

Drive Analytics Engineering Excellence

• Partner with Enterprise Architecture on Databricks Lakehouse design, governance, and data architecture.

• Establish engineering standards including dbt development, version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and documentation.

• Collaborate with Integration Platform teams to ensure reliable and scalable data ingestion from enterprise systems.

Lead Enterprise Data Transformation

• Own the analytics workstream supporting the migration from multiple legacy BI platforms.

• Prioritize business-critical reporting while ensuring seamless transition to the new analytics ecosystem.

• Manage external implementation partners and ensure successful delivery throughout the transformation program.

Strengthen Data Governance & Adoption

• Establish governance for certified datasets, semantic models, and enterprise reporting standards.

• Champion data literacy and self-service analytics across business functions.

• Monitor adoption through analytics KPIs, usage metrics, and business value realization.

• Partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance teams to ensure regulatory and privacy compliance, including GDPR.

Partner with Executive Stakeholders

• Serve as the trusted analytics advisor to senior leaders including Finance, Commercial, and Operations executives.

• Represent Data & Analytics within the Technology Leadership Team.

• Build strong partnerships with strategic vendors and technology partners supporting the analytics platform.
  

Skills and Qualifications: 
Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data & Analytics teams within large, multi-country or multi-entity organizations.

• Strong background delivering enterprise analytics during digital transformation, platform modernization, or M&A integration.

• Hands-on expertise with Databricks or modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Google BigQuery.

• Deep knowledge of dbt and modern Business Intelligence platforms including Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Experience designing enterprise semantic layers, governed metrics, and executive reporting frameworks.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Finance, Commercial, and Executive leadership.

• Demonstrated success building high-performing technical teams and fostering engineering excellence.

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience within SaaS or subscription-based businesses.

• Knowledge of revenue metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, customer cohorts, and commercial analytics.

• Familiarity with HubSpot, DealHub, Chargebee, Stripe, or NetSuite analytics.

• Exposure to Machine Learning, AI products, or MLOps practices.

• Experience working with GDPR and global data governance frameworks.

• Success implementing enterprise-wide data literacy and self-service analytics initiatives.

Work Arrangement
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Work Setup: This role is onsite and requires regular attendance at our Jakarta office to enable close collaboration with local leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders.
