JUNIOR FULL-STACK DEVELOPER

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to help develop and maintain several internal company applications, based on-site at our office in Batam City, Riau Islands. This is a full-time contract role suitable for fresh graduates who have a foundation in programming, understand web application development, and have a good willingness to learn. Candidates must be committed to working from the office (WFO) on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop and improve internal web applications.

• Assist with simple frontend and backend work.

• Connect applications with databases.

• Help integrate and use REST API / JSON.

• Perform testing, debugging, and application fixes.

• Help setup and deployment of applications.

• Create simple technical documentation as needed.

About you

• Minimum D1 in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Understand basic database and SQL.

• Understand basic concepts of REST API and JSON.

• Have a good foundation in programming.

• Able to perform simple troubleshooting and debugging.

• Quick to learn, detail-oriented, and have problem-solving abilities.

• Willing to learn and have initiative.

• Responsible and detail-oriented.

• Do not give up easily when encountering errors.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Have an interest in developing in the field of application development.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience using React / Next.js.

• Familiarity with TypeScript or Python.

• Experience using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Familiar with Git / GitHub.

• Experience in building or integrating APIs.

• Have developed personal web application projects or performed application deployment.

Work experience is not the primary requirement. Fresh graduates with a good grasp of programming fundamentals, supported by personal projects or a portfolio, will be given strong consideration.
