About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, from the tender stage through project completion, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and project budgets.
Perform quantity take-offs based on construction drawings and specifications.
Prepare tender documentation and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Conduct cost analysis and prepare unit rate calculations.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage variation orders (VO), progress claims, and final account settlements.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
Prepare periodic cost reports and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both spoken and written)
Basic proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost control.
Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and tendering processes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (Structural, Architectural, and MEP drawings are an advantage).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or other quantity surveying software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
