Job description:
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system, software, hardware, and technical issues
- Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
- Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, or chat until they've solved a technical issue
- Manage several open issues at one time
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
- Knowledgeable of MS Office Application.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support, desktop support, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer service skills and the ability to quickly understand and resolve technical issues.
- Creative thinking ability to approach technical challenges with innovative solutions.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively, ensuring timely resolution.
- At least 1 year of experience as IT Support/Technical/Specialist. Fresh graduate that have similar experience is also acceptable.
