Position: In-House Counsel (Japan)
Type:Contract
Compensation:$140–$150/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:~10 hours
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated responses on Japanese law by running prompts through two AI (LLM) platforms.
- Compare outputs from both platforms and score them against a standardized rubric.
- Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation to improve AI model performance.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality evaluations.
- Maintain confidentiality as all work is covered by NDA.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years as in-house legal counsel practicing in Japan.
- Strong command of Japanese law, especially commercial and contract matters.
- Sharp attention to detail and precise written communication.
- Able to work independently to a rubric and to deadlines.
