Mobile App Developer

The role:

Candidate is responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting our mobile app for iOS and Android which will be used by our customers.

How you'll contribute :

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable mobile applications for the iOS and/or Android platforms

• Manage the end-to-end deployment process to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including preparing release builds, writing descriptions, and monitoring performance post-launch.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, including extensive unit-testing and debugging

• Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure a smooth user experience.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge / training / mentoring and promote a collaborative team environment.

• Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate various functionalities

• Working with UI/UX designers, architects and other engineers to define, design and ship best mobile apps user-experiences

• Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies, industry trends, and development tools to drive continuous improvement.

• Working independently to and able to deliver on time

• Well-organized and documenting all aspects of your work

• Learning our business process and helping to align technology innovation with our customer needs and able to work with stakeholders from different countries and time zones

• Communicating professionally with other business units and customers as needed for demos and support of our products

Qualifications

We think you'll fit in great with us if you have:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field of study

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices

• Long-term passion for mobile apps/frontend development

• Hands-on experience working with React Native (must have) to build and deploy cross platform mobile applications

• Knowledge of cloud-based services and mobile backend development (e.g., Firebase, AWS Amplify)

• Experienced in building and deploying iOS & Android applications to AppStore & PlayStore

• Experienced in consuming APIs using SOAP/REST, XML/JSON or GraphQL

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and able to work with CI/CD to have automatic testing and delivery

• Clear in the understanding of software development best practices, agile methodologies, a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
