Financial Planning and Analysis

About the role
As the Financial Planning and Analysis you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial planning and analysis processes. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on the strategic direction of the organisation. Based in our Jakarta office, this full-time position will see you collaborating closely with Director to drive financial performance and support key business initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• The ability to make good financial plans including cash flow planning and budgeting is a must for this position

• Analyzing financial data and presentations for executive management and the board to uncover insights and opportunities for improving business performance

• Controlling the planning that has been made so that it can run according to plan

• Developing and maintaining robust financial models to support strategic decision-making

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the finance function

• Providing expert financial advice and guidance to cross-functional teams

• Mentoring and developing more junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the maritime industry

• Strong technical skills in financial modelling, data analysis, cash flow projection, and budgeting

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights

• Strategic mindset with the ability to link financial performance to broader business objectives

• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies

• Experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams

• Having experience in a securities company will be an added value

• Have experience in seeking funds or capital to develop a company, either funds from bank loans or other third parties

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
