Junior Reservoir Engineer

Job Description

• Production and logging data acquisition and analysis under supervision of senior engineers

• Support logging and flow test design and planning, execution, and interpretation under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Participate in field data acquisition activities such as logging, well testing, and flow tests.

• Support well and reservoir performance monitoring and flag anomalies or changes.

• Prepare technical reports and presentations on reservoir performance and well analysis.

• Collaborate with other teams to support project activities

• Maintain well database and ensure data accuracy for reservoir studies.

• Contribute to resource assessment reports.

• Work closely with geologists, geochemists and other engineers to integrate subsurface data.

• Assist in planning well interventions.

• Support senior engineers in evaluating new geothermal prospects and resource expansion.

• Other activities that may be required from time to time.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Fresh graduate with strong academic performance in reservoir engineering-related coursework.

• Basic understanding of geothermal reservoir principles.

• Familiarity with geothermal production systems and wellbore behavior.

• Exposure to or willingness to learn wellbore modeling, PTS data interpretation, and decline curve analysis.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills, with strong proficiency in English.

• Willingness and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
