UI/UX Designer — Freelance — Web Marketplace & Admin Dashboard

About the Project

We are building a web-based marketplace platform that connects customers who need building contractors with verified contractors through an auction/bidding system. The will include customer project posting, contractor bidding, contractor selection, payment status tracking, and an admin dashboard.

We are looking for a Freelance UI/UX Designer to design clear and practical user flows for the customer web-app, contractor portal, and admin dashboard.

Responsibilities

1. Create user flows for customer, contractor, admin, and finance/admin users.
2. Design low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity screens in Figma.
3. Design customer web-app screens, including onboarding, registration, project creation, bid comparison, contractor selection, payment status, and project tracking.
4. Design contractor portal screens, including registration, contractor profile, document upload, project browsing, bid submission, bid status, and payout status.
5. Design admin dashboard screens, including contractor verification, user management, project management, bid monitoring, payment tracking, payout approval, dispute/cancellation status, and transaction logs.
6. Create a clickable prototype for key flows.
7. Create reusable UI components, including buttons, forms, tables, status badges, modals, alerts, and dashboard cards.
8. Improve user trust and clarity around payment, escrow-style tracking, payout, and project status.
9. Work closely with Project Manager, frontend developer, backend developer, and QA tester.
10. Ensure designs are practical and feasible for development

Must-Have Requirements

1. Experience designing web-apps, dashboards, or SaaS products using Figma.
2. Strong understanding of user flows, wireframing, and web UI design.
3. Ability to design clean, simple, and practical screens.
4. Ability to design both user-facing web pages and admin dashboard pages.
5. Good understanding of forms, tables, filters, status labels, and dashboard layouts.
6. Able to organize Figma files clearly.
7. Able to work with developers and receive feedback.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

1. Experience designing marketplace, fintech, payment, e-commerce, procurement, construction, or booking platforms.
2. Experience designing admin dashboards.
3. Experience designing trust-sensitive flows such as payment, verification, approval, and transaction status.
4. Basic UX research or usability testing experience.
5. Experience creating design systems or component libraries.
6. Understanding of responsive web design.
