Our Client is currently looking for candidates for the position below:

Accounting - Assistant Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed asset accounting, including ensure proper documentation and recording of all financial transactions and supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (PSAK).

  • Supervise the preparation of financial reports required by management and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.

  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain strong internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.

  • Work closely with operational departments including site management, procurement, and finance teams.

  • Support financial monitoring of mining projects and site operations.

Requirement and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from a reputable university

  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the mining/ mining contractor industry

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and taxation

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal

  • Willing to perform regular business trips to the Samarinda office and mining project sites (if required)

  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
