Manicurist

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent; vocational training/certification in Nail Care, Beauty Care, or related field is an advantage
• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or Beauty Care Specialist
• Knowledgeable in manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, gel polish, nail art, and nail treatments
• Skilled in proper nail care techniques and sanitation procedures
• Familiar with the use and maintenance of nail care tools and equipment
• Creative, detail-oriented, and has good hand coordination
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to assess clients’ nail conditions and recommend suitable treatments
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Willing to undergo training and learn new nail trends and techniques

Key Functions / Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform professional manicure and pedicure services
• Apply gel polish, nail extensions, acrylic/soft gel nails, and nail enhancements
• Create customized nail designs and nail art based on client preferences
• Provide nail cleaning, shaping, buffing, cuticle care, and other nail treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of tools, equipment, and work area
• Conduct client consultation and recommend appropriate nail care services
• Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Manage appointment schedules and maintain good client relations
• Promote available salon/spa services and products
• Monitor inventory of nail supplies and report shortages
• Maintain professional appearance and work attitude at all times
