Barista

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join the team at our cafe in Bali. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages and providing outstanding customer service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, with precision and consistency

• Maintain and clean espresso machines and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards

• Take customer orders accurately and provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee selections and speciality drinks

• Stock and manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups and other beverages and supplies

• Follow company procedures and standards for food and beverage preparation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a barista or in a similar coffee preparation role within a hospitality setting

• Comprehensive knowledge of different coffee types, brewing methods and flavour profiles

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Flexibility with working hours, including potential weekend and evening shifts

• Certification in food safety and hygiene (preferred)

• Experience in a premium or luxury hospitality environment (advantageous)

• English-speaking is preferred.
