About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Architect (Azure) to join the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), an international team of 75+ cloud professionals. In this role, you will guide DevOps teams in designing secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions on Azure—and support cloud onboarding across both Azure and Google Cloud.

You will act as a consulting partner, technical leader, and cloud ambassador, helping teams accelerate their cloud journey while ensuring best practices, automation, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud onboarding across Azure and Google Cloud, covering both technology and process.
• Educate and guide DevOps teams in designing secure, scalable, ASML?compliant cloud architectures.
• Act as a consulting partner to DevOps teams, removing roadblocks and enabling successful cloud adoption.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for DevOps teams and represent the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
• Promote cloud cost awareness and advise teams on optimization strategies.
• Test, validate, and develop new cloud technologies; be hands?on when needed.
• Identify service gaps and collaborate with the CCoE product owner to improve customer experience.
• Design and review architectures for cloud?native and hybrid applications.
• Support automation initiatives including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure?as?Code (IaC).
• Document solution designs and operational processes.
• Design, develop, and support AI solutions (e.g., copilot agents) to enhance CCoE and customer operations.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Azure (must?have).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a strong plus.
• Hands?on experience with Azure IaaS:
  • Virtual Machines
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Networking
  • Storage
• Skilled in designing PaaS solutions:
  • Web Apps
  • Managed Databases
  • Kubernetes
  • Data Lake
  • Databricks
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tooling.
• Deep understanding of cloud data integration patterns and modern data architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex deployment scenarios.
• Engineering and coding experience in Agile environments.
• Proven track record in technical architecture design, solution definition, and managing change/risk.
• Experience working in large, international organizations or global service providers.
• Experience designing and developing AI solutions (e.g., copilot agents).

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or Business Management.
