Location: Remote
Salary Range: 3000 - 3500 USD/month, plus annual bonus (equivalent to one month's salary) and one week of PTO
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:

Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the monthly close process, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting audit and tax activities. This position will also contribute to process improvements, assist with ERP-related accounting issues, and support the integration of newly acquired entities as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting records.
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Investigate and resolve accounting-related ERP issues.
- Assist with onboarding and integration of newly acquired entities.
- Prepare divisional financial reporting and analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience (or aligned experience requirement upon final confirmation).
- Strong experience managing month-end close processes.
- Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations.
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
- Experience supporting audits and tax compliance activities.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during Eastern Time business hours.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions or integrating newly acquired companies.
- Experience in private equity-backed or rapidly growing organizations.
- Experience with fixed assets and lease accounting.
- Advanced ERP experience across multiple accounting platforms.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification.
