Job Vacancy : SOUS CHEF
Placement : BARTOLO Bali (French/Italian Restaurant Uluwatu)
Address : Jl. LabuanSait (Uluwatu-Pecatu) Kuta Selatan, Badung, Bali.
Sous Chef Candidate Requirements:
· Experience & Skills Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fine dining or high-volume kitchens.
· Strong working knowledge of Western and/or European cuisine. French technique is a plus.
· Proven ability to run a station and expedite during service.
· Skilled in butchery, fish fabrication, and sauce work.
· Experience with menu development, R&D, and costing.
· Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene standards.
· Proficient in inventory management, ordering, and minimizing waste.
Leadership & Management:
· Ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
· Strong communication skills to coordinate with FOH, suppliers, and management.
· Can create prep lists, control labor, and maintain quality during Head Chef’s absence.
· Detail-oriented with high standards for plating and consistency.
· Able to handle feedback and guest complaints professionally.

- Calm under pressure and problem-solver during service.
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
- Basic computer skills for ordering, costing, and scheduling.
Preferred:
- Formal culinary education or certification.
- Experience in opening or pre-opening projects.
- Familiarity with Thermomix, sous vide, and other modern kitchen equipment.
- Conversational English for team communication.
