Internship Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

The Cloud Engineer Intern will assist the Cloud Engineering team in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting cloud infrastructure. This role provides hands-on experience with virtualization, Linux systems, networking, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure while working alongside experienced cloud engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring cloud infrastructure and server performance.
• Support the deployment and configuration of virtual machines.
• Help troubleshoot basic infrastructure, network, and operating system issues.
• Perform routine system health checks and monitoring.
• Assist with server provisioning, installation, and configuration.
• Support backup and recovery activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure inventory.
• Assist in patch management and system updates.
• Participate in incident response and problem investigation under supervision.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, and Technical Support teams when required.
• Learn and apply cloud computing best practices, security, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Linux and Windows Server.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar).
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
