Description
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespersons and contractors on various construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all phases of construction.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience Level: 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in carpentry techniques and tools, including experience in high-rise and commercial building construction
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work on public, historical, and agricultural construction projects
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
