We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installation activities and ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction projects and is capable of leading site teams while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in construction projects.
Experience in industrial plants, factories, power plants, oil & gas, or other large-scale construction projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, piping systems, rotating/static equipment, and construction methodologies.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
Familiar with construction safety standards and quality control procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily mechanical construction activities, including installation of piping, equipment, and mechanical systems.
Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor manpower productivity, material usage, and equipment availability.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, project standards, and company procedures.
Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during construction activities.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and communicate project updates to the project management team.
Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Ensure all mechanical works comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
