Medical Licensing & Compliance Officer

About the Role
We are a consulting firm specializing in regulatory and market entry services for the healthcare sector in Indonesia. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual based in Jakarta to manage client accounts and support regulatory service delivery across our medical portfolio.

Responsibilities

1. Handle inbound client inquiries from multiple channels (manufacturer referrals, social media leads, partner channels) and provide accurate consultation on our services

2. Understand client needs in detail and match them to the appropriate regulatory pathway — including BPOM registration for pharmaceutical products, and AKL / CDAKB / IDAK for medical devices

3. Conduct research on Indonesian pharmaceutical and medical device regulations, market requirements, and product classification

1. Liaise with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and relevant government bodies to gather regulatory updates and verify requirement.

2. Track and communicate the progress of each client’s registration case internally and externally

3. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients throughout the registration process and ensure timely follow-ups

Requirements:

1. Background in pharmacy, medical devices, healthcare regulation, or related field

2. Familiar with Indonesian regulatory bodies including BPOM and MOH

3. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); Bahasa Indonesia required

1. Based in Jakarta

2. Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsive — timely communication is a core requirement of this role

3. Experience in regulatory affairs, client servicing, or healthcare consulting is a strong plus

4. Fluent in English or Mandarin
