Social Media Officer
This role is designed for someone who is passionate about social media and content creation. You will support the planning, execution, and daily management of brand social media while working closely with the creative and campaign teams to deliver engaging digital content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a creative, digital, or advertising agency.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, content planning, and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and emerging social media platforms.
- Good copywriting skills and the ability to adapt content to different brand voices.
- Familiar with social media insights and basic performance reporting.
- Basic understanding of platform trends, and audience behavior.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace, or similar tools is a plus.
Job Description:
- Support the development of monthly content plans based on campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Translate client briefs into engaging social media content ideas and content calendars.
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure content is produced and delivered according to schedule.
- Write captions, microcopy, and website articles aligned with each brand's tone of voice.
- Schedule, publish, and monitor content across social media platforms.
- Monitor content performance and prepare basic performance reports with key insights.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform features, and competitor activities.
- Support campaign execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
