As we continue our ambitious journey toward 1,000 stores across Indonesia, we're looking for a detail-oriented Associate, Inventory Control to play a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy and operational efficiency across our pharmacy network. In this role, you'll monitor stock movement, maintain inventory integrity, analyze discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the right products are available at the right place and time—supporting seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock Opname (Inventory Count)Lead and coordinate night shift stock opname activities.
Prepare stock count lists and assign counting areas to team members.
Ensure proper counting procedures and documentation are followed.
Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies between physical count and system records.
Submit stock count reports to the Ops Excellence Supervisor.
Ensure critical SKUs (high value, high movement, or regulated items) are properly counted and verified.
Monitor inventory movements including:
Adjustments
Transfers
Damages
Expiry handling
Support root cause investigation for inventory variances.
Maintain inventory data accuracy in the system.
Ensure proper labeling, batch tracking, and expiry tracking where applicable.
Process and validate product returns including:
Store returns
Supplier returns
Damaged goods
Expired products
Verify documentation for returned items (return forms, invoices, etc.).
Update system transactions related to returns.
Coordinate with warehouse operations and procurement teams when needed.
Ensure all inventory-related documents are properly recorded and filed.
Support compliance with regulatory requirements for pharmacy inventory management.
Maintain traceability of batch numbers and expiry dates where applicable.
Support the Ops Excellence Supervisor in daily inventory monitoring.
Assist in cycle count execution and inventory audit preparation.
Help identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education : Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Pharmacy (preferred in pharmaceutical environments) or Business Administration.
1–3 years experience in inventory control, warehouse, or retail operations.
Experience in stock counting or cycle counting preferred.
Inventory management systems
Stock reconciliation
Data recording and reporting
Microsoft Excel or similar tools

Leadership for small operational teams (during stock opname)
