Key responsibilities
Provide procurement-related information for raw materials and packaging materials to support sourcing and purchasing decisions.
Develop procurement plans for raw materials and packaging materials to ensure timely execution by the relevant teams.
Conduct sourcing activities and obtain quotations from both existing and potential vendors based on business requirements.
Coordinate with the PPIC and R&D teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Purchase Requisition (PR) process.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and/or Purchase Contracts in accordance with approved procurement requirements and management authorization.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure material deliveries are aligned with schedules established by the PPIC and/or R&D teams.
Coordinate with the Logistics team to monitor and communicate incoming material schedules for the upcoming one-week to one-month period.
Serve as a sensory panelist in sensory evaluation and product testing activities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Raw Material Purchasing or Procurement, preferably in the Food & Beverage or FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, vendor management, and contract administration.
Experience in purchasing raw materials and packaging materials for manufacturing operations.
Familiar with Material Requirement Planning (MRP), inventory management, and production planning processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/SAP systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills.
Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
